Job Summary

A member of the Account Team, this position is responsible for meeting the strategic goals for Liquid Iron’s clients.

The Account Executive will understand the strategy as well as the outcomes it is designed to deliver and have the ability to orchestrate all resources including internal teams, external vendors, and client teams toward efficient execution.

They will become an expert in the client space and be the day-to-day client contact for planning, execution, management, and strategic analysis. This person will work intimately with clients and Liquid Iron’s founders to kick off projects and ensure projects/campaigns/programs are on track and meeting the needs of clients. The Account Executive will spearhead many tactical aspects of each project including research, communication, project management, reporting and analysis

Liquid Iron account executives are successful when they become a trusted resource to clients ­– honest, proactive and personable in the way they manage an account. He/she will consistently contribute to strategy and will elevate our work/deliverables, bring ideas to the table and welcome new challenges.

This position will be a trusted resource on digital marketing strategy and tactics for each client team.

They will work with owners who demand an exceptional work/life balance and support the growth of the individual, personally and professionally, throughout their time at Liquid Iron.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Nurture client relationship; provide exceptional service.
  • Track client goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of contracted scope of work to ensure Liquid Iron is operating efficiently.
  • Hone the ability to edit and write content and materials used across all client channels.
  • Develop original content ideas for clients’ specific industry; establish and maintain content and work-back calendars.
  • Oversee and coordinate freelancers’ assignments, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Proactively engage with client to oversee day-to-day management of content details including, but not limited to, drafts, reviews, edits and approvals.
  • Contribute to Liquid Iron’s thought leadership, particularly in digital trends.

  • Strong understanding of all forms of both traditional and digital marketing, including but not limited to, web strategies, social media, new media, guerilla and “word of mouth” marketing and public relations.
  • Able to work in a start-up environment by being flexible, curious and ambitious while maintaining a sense of humor and meaningful appreciation for the people around them.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on Adwords account management.
  • Hands-on Social Media advertising account management.
  • Previous experience managing mid-to-large website development projects.
  • Previous experience pitching new clients.

 

Requirements (Account Executives of all levels)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong understanding of all forms of both traditional and digital marketing, including but not limited to, web strategies, social media, new media, guerilla and “word of mouth” marketing and public relations.

 

Requirements for Account Executives:

  • 4+ years related marketing experience.
  • 2+ years of account/project management experience; agency setting preferred.
  • Proven competency managing campaigns in common digital marketing channels (e.g. social media, email, SEO, SEM, display media, general web UX and content strategy).

 

Requirements for Sr. Account Executives:

  • 6+ years related marketing experience.
  • 4+ years of account/project management experience; agency setting preferred.
  • Proven competency managing campaigns in common digital marketing channels (e.g. social media, email, SEO, SEM, display media, general web UX and content strategy)
  • Proven ability to generate new business or grow business from existing clients.
  • Experience developing strategic and tactical client presentations as well as new business pitches in close coordination with the co-founders.

 

Reports to

Client Services Lead and/or directly to Liquid Iron’s co-founders.
